Buns for Beginners (Noxxa Breadmaker)

In response to request from a couple of friends:

The following is a simple bun-making pictorial guide using a Noxxa Bread-making Oven.
Laden with ingredients
from the recipe. Pop it into the bread-maker.
Dough Code 10
After 15 minutes.
Scrape remnants from the corners
towards the middle. Pop it back into the bread-maker.
After 20 minutes - to check that dough is in a neat ball at the center of the pan. Pop it back into the bread-maker.
After 1 hour 30 min
Onto Pastry Board
lightly floured
Baking Tray
lined with sheets
Divide dough into half
Divide first half into 3,
then subdivide each of the 3
into 3 smaller portions.
Total = 9
So now you have 9
small portions
and 1 large portion of dough.
Repeat the above division for the second half of the dough to get another 9 small portions.

Total = 18

NOTE
  1. I do not usually weigh each portion but if you must be accurate, a range of between 49 - 50 gm for each portion should be just about right.
  2. Lightly flour the portions to keep them from sticking together.

Grab the first portion from the top left and fold it inwards in a circular motion from the outside to the center, pressing lightly with your thumb at the center to shape it into a small ball.
Repeat for the other 17 portions.
Grab the first portion from the top left. Roll out and fold in the filling. As far as thickness goes, I usually use the thickness of my earlobe as a guide. Not the best method, to be sure.
Repeat for remaining 17 portions.
Finished product. Mine is irregularly shaped on account of my dysfunctional fingers.

Topped off with a little black sesame seeds. (Optional)
Popping them into the oven (unheated) to let the buns rise.
This will take between 40 to 50 minutes depending on the yeast used.

After about 40 minutes, the buns are ready to be baked.
Baked buns
200 °C 15 minutes
